Roman Holiday

Rome Piazza de Venezia
Piazza de Venezia, Rome

I realised today, that I hadn’t yet posted about our trip to Rome, which was a part of our 3 city tour of Europe this February. I have already written about Paris and Venice here and here, so make sure you check those out as well!

These pictures were taken over three days that we were in Rome. We stayed at a hotel in the San Anselmo neighborhood, which turned out such a great location!

We had amazing view of the whole city from that place, We were just 2 blocks away from Circo Massimo and the Colosseum was also pretty near! I would highly recommend checking out hotels in this area for your next trip to Rome, it has everything you’ll need!
Enjoy the pictures!

We had taken hundreds of pictures and these are among my favorites! Rome had a lot of places to shop especially the area next to the Spanish Steps, which has one after the other stores of Β all the designers and high-end brands. I wasn’t really looking for buying things so we just absorbed the city, walked around everywhere, ate lot of gelato and pizza and had a great time!

If you have any questions for our stay, prices or just abut anything, I’d be glad to help!

I love Italy so much :-) Every bit of it (even, perhaps especially Naples!) These photos brought back a lot of happy memories (most recently from our honeymoon) so thanks for sharing <3

Hubba Bubba! I’d love to visit Rome one day since I’m currently studying Classics in uni right now (along with Greece, Macedonia and the rest of Italy). I am a bit apprehensive about theft though, since I am carrying a $$$$ camera, but FOR THE PHOTOS/ARCHITECTURE? WORTH THE RISK.

What a goooorgeous city!!! I still haven’t been to Italy. I am a little worried because it doesn’t seem all that safe there (a friend’s dad got his wallet stolen there just last weekend), but man, it’s sooo beautiful!

We were a little apprehensive too and extra careful, but had no trouble whatsoever! Its worth a visit in your lifetime! πŸ˜€

Beautiful photos!! I loved Rome when I visited it 5 years ago and I’ve been itching to go back. Um, coin tossed in the Trevi fountain, I’m still waiting :) LOL!
