In the spirit of my previous favorites post here, I have my most loved and most worn nail polishes today. Again, no surprises here, I love a good nude barely there color and a once-in-a-while bright pink or pastel green!
Until this blog happened, I was a pretty plain with nail colors. Didn’t own too many, never bothered with manicures and pretty much ignored the nail polish aisles wherever I’d go! This year although was definitely a “manicure heavy” one for me. I indulged more into taking care of my hands and nails, painting them more often, buying new nail colors and actually stepping out of my usual disposition and trying on some color.
There are quite a few Chanel(s) as well as a good mix of budget nail colors in my favorites. Quite a few of which surprised me with their spot-on formula and finish and really made all that spending on Chanel look a wee bit futile!
Chanel Elixir – My wedding day nail color and very special hence!
Max Factor Candy Rose – A beautiful dusty rose color with a great formula. Max Factor Nail colors have really impressed me!
YSL Gris Deco – The slight silver shimmer running through it makes it very wearable and glam at the same time. One of those wearable greys which don’t make your hands look dead!
Sally Hansen Wet Cement – A murky slightly green tinged grey, its complex and attractive!
Chanel Rose Cache – The name would suggest something rosy, but on my complexion its more of a pink tinged neutral. Love it for my working-lady hands.
Sally Hansen Nude Now – Have spoken about it plenty in the post, one of the best neutrals in a budget!
Chanel Frenzy – Click on the link for a full review
Sally Hansen Guilty Pleasure – A gorgeous shimmery (non-glittery) gold. This is quite sheer in itself and needs to be built up but when worn on another color its stunning!
KIKO Nail Polish #345 – This is my first and only pastel green and I am in love! Need more of such in my life.
I’d love to know your top/favorite nail colors this year!
